Fuel Cut Eliminator - Part # FCE-002 - PRODUCT PHOTOS
Price $ 130.00 Updated for consistent performance in all conditions!!

This bike has lazy throttle response to small throttle inputs, and also the typical abrupt on/off throttle transition problem that all of todays EFI bikes have, as well as surguing and hesitation at throttle openings less than 50%. This product was developed to correct all of these issues. It will eliminate all feelings of driveline lash and imprecise throttle response, and hesitation.

What is"fuel cut" ??

"Fuel cut" happens when you close the throttle anytime above 2500 rpm (or very close to) on this bike, the fuel injectors will stop.....

Upon re-application of the throttle, there is a delay before the system will start back up and re-wet the intake tract and combustion chamber..... the rider feels this as a delay and jerky response from closed throttle.... especially while leaned over in a turn or trying to manuver the bike at low speeds.

Under these conditions, throttle response is much less than precise.
I have designed the FCE for this bike, and as a result there is a very marked difference as to how much better this bike responds and behaves under any riding condition....

Using this product, this bike is transformed to a perfectly smooth and predictable ride under any riding condition. It will also get rid of all surging and hesitation issues at throttle openings less than 50%.... this means the rider will feel less heat while the bike is moving too. This will make your ST1300 feel much more predictable and noticably smoother in all riding conditions. While not significantly affecting fuel mileage.

This product will make a marked improvement in any year fuel injected Honda ST1300 (2003 - 2010) because it eliminates the root cause of the abrupt throttle response - "Fuel Cut" and it also offers the advantage of adding back the missing fuel at part throttle without over-richening any part of the fuel curve.

(Fuel Cut is a federal emissions regulation requirement for all EFI vehicles sold in the USA since 1980...... NO VEHICLES ARE EXEMPT !! )

Legal Disclaimers:
The FCE may not comply with state and/or federal emission laws.
The FCE is for "race use only" (by installing this product, you take responsibility for any emission laws that you may violate)
The FCE may not comply with certain parts of your warranty.
(check out the magnuson moss act of 1975 - your whole warranty cannot be voided)

Just a few notes to address some potential questions about previous attempts at fixes for these issues by their owners....

(1) Exhaust gas tests on a completely stock ST1300 with an aftermarket 58 psi fuel pressure regulator shows over-richening and power loss at large throttle openings.

We recommend using your stock fuel pressure regulator on a completely stock bike with a clean stock paper OEM HONDA air filter for the best results. The reason for this is that EGA tests are nearly perfect on a 100% stock bike with an OEM Honda air filter and our product....
We want you to get the best possible result with our product that we made for your bike !!
Changing the filter and/or exhaust restriction will change the fuel requirement..... In this case, there may be a need for your added fuel from a higher pressure regulator.
The best way to try to adjust the fueling would be an aftermarket electronic fuel controller such as a power commander. Higher fuel pressure will cause over-fueling at small throttle openings where the extra fuel is not needed and will roughen on/off transitions which is working against what this product is trying to do for you.

(2) Using a replacement throttle tube is a completely rider preference issue.... this will adjust throttle input sensitivity, but will require more throttle movement to maintain steady speed.... Using the FCE, with either the stock throttle tube or an aftermarket tube will yield the same results.

(3) Using aftermarket exhaust or a different than stock OEM Honda air filter and/or airbox modification will cause the bike to need more fuel in certain areas, but not all areas.... this is best addressed with an electronic fuel controller of some kind.

(4) Since most ST1300 owners will leave their bike stock, I have no plans to test and develop any type of tuning program (fuel maps) for use with aftermarket performance parts.
This is because there is no power commander available for this bike.

There are some fuel controllers that make basic adjustments possible but, since I like to make precise adjustments where needed only, the lack of a fuel controller available that will allow precise throttle position and rpm adjustments of injector rates, I have nothing to offer that is up to the standard that I like to make available to my customers.
